Random cuteness!!

My In-laws just had their anniversary. For the occasion my father-in-law bought my mother-in-law a picture frame and wanted a picture of all of our kiddos to put in it. This was the best I could get.

Hailey got to go to a pumpkin patch with her pre-school class and made a really cute scarecrow hat!

Our two 2-year-olds

Our little Christopher and Madalynne are now 2!!! Actually they have been two for almost a month, but I've been a little busy. On their birthday we had a little celebration with just our family. They each had a cupcake after dinner and we sang to them. They weren't really sure what was going on, but had fun anyways. That next weekend we had a small party for them. Some friends and family came over for pizza, cake and to hang out and/or play. They had SO much fun!!!

Birthday morning opening cards from their Great Grandparents in Arizona and Aunt, Uncle and cousins in N. Carolina. Thanks for remembering them guys!!

Our CUTIES!!!!

Opening presents. Thanks everyone!!
(They're half naked because presents came after eating cupcakes)

Nighttime hide and seek

Can you find Chris?

We went to check on the kids before going to bed and this is what we found. Aaron woke him up and got him out. While Aaron was under there he said it was kind of nice, warm and cozy.

Stylish and Visitors

Hailey loves to get all of her "pretties" and shows tells me "Mommy I'm stylish!" she usually does this right before daddy gets home, cause she wants him to see.

My brother and his wife came to Cali to visit. They came up and spent the afternoon at our house. They got to meet Izzy and play with our other munchkins. They also told us some exciting news, they are expecting!!!

One month old

Isabella turned on month old yesterday. She has grown so much. I don't have any stats to report since she doesn't go to the doctor for a well baby check-up until she's two months. She holds her head up and smiles a lot (mostly at her Daddy). She is doing much better with sleeping. Still a little fussy some nights, but way less then she use to. She is adored by her siblings. Hailey loves to pick out Izzy's PJ's and clothes. I think Hailey thinks Izzy is her own real life doll.

Number 14

Izzy is the 14th grandchild for my parents. She also evens out the number of grandsons and granddaughters, at 7 each. In a conversation with my brother, he had an interesting question that since 2004, when my parents 3 younger girls all got married, has there been a time that either one of the daughters or daughter-in-law has not been pregnant?

4 Stars

Hailey has been potty trained since she was just over 2 years-old. However she sleeps very, very soundly at night and doesn't wake up to go to the bathroom, so she has been wearing pull-ups at night ever since. During the summer we made a deal with her that if she was dry 4 nights in a row we would by her a pair of Lelli Kelly shoes. Lelli Kelly shoes are very sparkly tennis shoes. She has wanted a pair of theses shoes ever since she saw a commercial for them a while ago. When she is dry in the morning we put a purple star on the calendar. This weekend she got her 4th star!!!
YEA HAILEY!!! GREAT JOB!!!

A Love /Hate Relationship

Christopher and Madalynne continue to tech me new things about twins everyday. Just when I think I've got them figured out they suprise me. They love to play together and hate it at the same time. If I put them in a room together they fight over toys, wrestle with each other and sometimes even brawl with each other. If I seperate them neither one knows what to do and they continualy ask for each other. Chris calls Maddie, Laly and recently he has started to say "Laly hitting" anytime he gets hurt or anything he doesn't like happens to him.

Also at home Chris is out numbered and is picked on the most. His sister gang up on him and he is left out sometimes. Luckly right now he doesn't notice or care. Maddie is a bully. She will run at you and tackle you or she will act sweet and pretend she is giving you a hug and not let go until she has drug you to the ground.

The other day I was talking to one of their nursery leaders and discovered that they switch rolls in nursery. Chris picks on everyone and steals their toys and Maddie is helpful and sweet. One of the leaders has a little boy that is around 15 months and Maddie holds his had and helps him walk around and play with toys.

Helping and playing

Aaron gave himself a haircut the other day and Hailey wanted to help. She did a pretty good job considering that the clippers vibrate a lot and were hard for her to hold. She was very proud that she got to help Daddy!

Our other munchkins hanging out!

Later on that day we took the kids to the park. They had a blast and used up a lot of energy (which Mom and Dad like!!!) It's really fun and a little hard to keep up with 3 active kids at the park. I can't wait until we are chasing 4 kids around and they are more independent.

The only picture of Hailey at the park. She's to busy for me to take her picture!

Maddie doesn't like to get her hands dirty.

Peek-a-boo!!

Cheesy boy!!

Good thing it was bath night!!!

Introducing Isabella Iris

We just had our 3rd little girl! Isabella Iris was born on Sunday, September 5th. She was 8lbs 5oz and 19inches long. She and I came home the next day!! She is sweet, quiet and a good sleeper. She is LOVED by her siblings!!!

There isn't really much to her delivery story, but for those of you that might be interested. I woke up with contractions around 3 in the morning. They were about 10 minutes apart. Not close enough to do anything, but close enough to not to be able to go back to sleep. So I got up and picked up the house and finished packing the twins to spend a couple of days with my mom (thanks a million for taking them mom!!!). At about 6:00 I woke up Aaron and he called his mom, so she could come over and be with the kids. Because I'd been moving around my contractions were now 4 to 5 minutes apart. We left for the hospital. Once I had been checked and was lying in bed my contraction began to be farther apart (of course). After a while I was back to having contractions every 4 to 5 minutes. I got an epideral and then turned to lay on my side to help the little one along. From there it was time to start pushing. About 4 pushes later, at 1:47 pm, Isabella was born.

Life is crazy!

Sorry, I know it's been a while but life around here is a little crazy and doesn't leave much time for Mom to do some of the things I want to do. Here is a little catch up of what has happened with the Walton's.

*Aaron is still in the same position at the same bank and loves it! He is now the President of the Chamber of Commerce. He is so well liked that he was nominated by a few people in the Chamber and everyone in the Chamber voted for him. He is amazing with the kids and they can't wait for daddy to get home everyday. He is also a huge help to me, since I am just now beginning to feel well enough to keep up with the kids and the house.

*I am still at home with all of my munchkins and as most of you know pregnant with #4. I am almost 13 weeks along, due on September 9th and doing alright. We are not going to find out the sex of the baby. We enjoy the surprise of finding out when the little one comes. We have names picked out for a boy and for a girl. Hailey is really hoping for a girl! Mom and Dad don't care either way.

*Hailey turned 3 at the beginning of February and thinks she knows everything. She does amaze us all of the time with how quickly she learns new things and with how much she wants to learn. She is so excited and desperate to go to school. She is VERY social!! She loves to talk to everyone and anyone that comes to our house she thinks is here for her entertainment only. She also recently got her own room (until the new baby arrives) since Uncle Andrew moved out. She loves it!!! We are still working on sharing with her brother and sister, but she is great at sharing with everyone else. Most people can't believe that she just barely turned 3. Sometimes I have trouble with it too.

*Chris and Maddie turned 1 on October 21st. They are walking and get into everything once my back is turned. They keep me very busy! If one doesn't think of something mischievous then the other one does and they both join in. Chris is very physical and likes to problem solve his way out of most things. Maddie is social as long as you are an arms length away and she is becoming much more vocal.

Now you are all caught up with us!!! Enjoy!
