4 Stars

Hailey has been potty trained since she was just over 2 years-old. However she sleeps very, very soundly at night and doesn't wake up to go to the bathroom, so she has been wearing pull-ups at night ever since. During the summer we made a deal with her that if she was dry 4 nights in a row we would by her a pair of Lelli Kelly shoes. Lelli Kelly shoes are very sparkly tennis shoes. She has wanted a pair of theses shoes ever since she saw a commercial for them a while ago. When she is dry in the morning we put a purple star on the calendar. This weekend she got her 4th star!!!
YEA HAILEY!!! GREAT JOB!!!

A Love /Hate Relationship

Christopher and Madalynne continue to tech me new things about twins everyday. Just when I think I've got them figured out they suprise me. They love to play together and hate it at the same time. If I put them in a room together they fight over toys, wrestle with each other and sometimes even brawl with each other. If I seperate them neither one knows what to do and they continualy ask for each other. Chris calls Maddie, Laly and recently he has started to say "Laly hitting" anytime he gets hurt or anything he doesn't like happens to him.

Also at home Chris is out numbered and is picked on the most. His sister gang up on him and he is left out sometimes. Luckly right now he doesn't notice or care. Maddie is a bully. She will run at you and tackle you or she will act sweet and pretend she is giving you a hug and not let go until she has drug you to the ground.

The other day I was talking to one of their nursery leaders and discovered that they switch rolls in nursery. Chris picks on everyone and steals their toys and Maddie is helpful and sweet. One of the leaders has a little boy that is around 15 months and Maddie holds his had and helps him walk around and play with toys.

Helping and playing

Aaron gave himself a haircut the other day and Hailey wanted to help. She did a pretty good job considering that the clippers vibrate a lot and were hard for her to hold. She was very proud that she got to help Daddy!

Our other munchkins hanging out!

Later on that day we took the kids to the park. They had a blast and used up a lot of energy (which Mom and Dad like!!!) It's really fun and a little hard to keep up with 3 active kids at the park. I can't wait until we are chasing 4 kids around and they are more independent.

The only picture of Hailey at the park. She's to busy for me to take her picture!

Maddie doesn't like to get her hands dirty.

Peek-a-boo!!

Cheesy boy!!

Good thing it was bath night!!!

Introducing Isabella Iris

We just had our 3rd little girl! Isabella Iris was born on Sunday, September 5th. She was 8lbs 5oz and 19inches long. She and I came home the next day!! She is sweet, quiet and a good sleeper. She is LOVED by her siblings!!!

There isn't really much to her delivery story, but for those of you that might be interested. I woke up with contractions around 3 in the morning. They were about 10 minutes apart. Not close enough to do anything, but close enough to not to be able to go back to sleep. So I got up and picked up the house and finished packing the twins to spend a couple of days with my mom (thanks a million for taking them mom!!!). At about 6:00 I woke up Aaron and he called his mom, so she could come over and be with the kids. Because I'd been moving around my contractions were now 4 to 5 minutes apart. We left for the hospital. Once I had been checked and was lying in bed my contraction began to be farther apart (of course). After a while I was back to having contractions every 4 to 5 minutes. I got an epideral and then turned to lay on my side to help the little one along. From there it was time to start pushing. About 4 pushes later, at 1:47 pm, Isabella was born.
