My little, big girl

With the twins coming soon, we decided to try to get Hailey use to sleeping in her new toddler bed. With help I moved it into her room yesterday and let her play on it while I moved stuff around to make room for it. Once she was already for bed she laid down in her new big girl bed and cried a little when we shut the door. After about 2 minutes we didn't hear anything and went to check on her this is what we found.

She had to have all 5 of her favorite animals to sleep, but she slept all night in her new big girl bed. This morning when she woke up and I went in to get her she was very excited that she had slept in her big girl bed all night. She also took her nap in it this afternoon. I think that we might have already succeeded in the transition to the new bed. We'll she how well it goes once the twins arrive.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Way to go Hailey. The kids still want to sleep in my bed every night. It definately is a challenge. I do see that she still had the safety and security of the boj though. That's a fun habit to try and break. She looks very cute in her BIG GIRL bed.

Hello! I am working on a book development project. I am writing a children's book about the transition from crib to "big kid bed." I am looking for photographs to use in my book, and I really like the photo you have posted to your blog of your daughter. I am writing to ask if you would be willing to give me rights to use the photograph in my book. I will need permission to use it for commercial use. Please let me know if you have questions about the content of the book. Thank you!
