Missing Daddy

As most of you know Hailey not only looks like her dad she is a Daddy's girl. She LOVES her Daddy a LOT!! Everyday, a couple of times a day she asks me when Daddy's coming home. Just before he should be home she will go out front and sit on the porch swing and wait for Daddy. Even if he's late she won't come in, without a fight, until he comes home. She is missing him very much right now. Aaron is gone backpacking and has been gone since Wednesday afternoon. Where they are has no cell service, so she hasn't seen or talked to her Daddy for a while and won't be able to until Monday evening. When she sees something of his or I say something about him she says " Daddy be back soon." Like she is reassuring herself that he is coming back. Tonight I asked her if she was missing Daddy and looking like she was about to cry she said "Yes Mommy, can I talk to him." We called his cell phone and when she heard his voice on his voicemail her entire face lit up. Poor Daddy's girl.

In order to fully appreciate this story I need to give you a little back ground. My nephew, Brendan that makes a kind of humming noise when he eats. It's a long story to explain why he does, lets just say it's his Dad's fault.
Now that you have the background information, back to my story. A couple of nights ago while we were eating dinner Hailey asked Aaron to sing her a song that he has been teaching her. To this request Aaron replied "I can't sing while I eat because I have food in my mouth." He then closed his mouth and tried to sing. By doing this he made a humming noise while he ate.
Hailey's immediate reaction was to say "Daddy your not Brendan."

Sleep walker

Last night Maddie woke up around 3:00, so I went in gave her some teething stuff and put her pacifier back in. When I headed back to bed I noticed something was in the rocking chair that I feed the twins their morning bottle in. I didn't have my contact in or glasses on so everything farther than about 6 niches from my face is fuzzy. When I went to clean off the chair so I could use it in the morning this is what I found...
