Too cute, not to share

Maddie and Chris rollin' around

Asleep @ the park

They may not look alike, but sometimes they act alike.

Havin' fun @ the park

Getting bigger everyday

Chris and Maddie are now 6 months old!! Technically they were 6 months on the 21st, but I wanted to wait to post pictures until I had their 6 month stats to go with it and yesterday was their well baby check-ups.

Chris is 26 3/4in tall and weights 16lbs 5oz!!

Maddie is 27in tall and weights 16lbs 9 oz!!!

She is now bigger than her older brother. Until this appointment she has always been 2oz lighter and any where from 1/4 in to 1/2 in shorter.

When we were comparing their stats to Hailey's at 6 months they are both much bigger than she was. Hailey was 25 3/4 in tall and 15lbs 3 oz.

~Hailey @ 6 months~

Chris dose have, and has had since birth, some white bumps on his tongue. The Doctor thought that they would go away on their own, but since they have not yet he has referred us to an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist. I'm waiting for them to call me back to make the appointment and will keep you updated on what is going on with him.

Random Things

Last week we started Chris and Maddie on baby cereal. Messy, fun and frustrating all at the same time. Hailey loves it and stand behind me the whole time I'm feeding Chris and Maddie. They love to watch their big sister and smile at her most of the time which is cute, but it makes it hard for them to keep any cereal in their mouth.

Maddie decided that she no longer wanted to share a sleeping space with Chris, so we went and got her her own crib. Once it was in their room Hailey climbed underneath and said "I'm in a cage Mama."

Maddie now rolls all over the room. Once I set her down she is off and is fine until she gets stuck against something or is too tired to make herself roll over anymore.

Chris' favorite thing to do now is bee in the jumper. He could be in the jumper for hours and be happy the only time he wants out is for food and too sleep...

most of the time.

I laid Chris and Maddie down under the projector screen to watch Baby Einstein (which they love) while I was cooking dinner. When I came back in Hailey had climbed in the middle of them and was watching too.

Hailey loves her little brother and sister and love her too. Hailey gets so excited when she plays with them and all she has to do is look at them and they will smile or laugh.

Chris and Maddie's first walk sitting up in their stroller. They loved to be able to look around and see more. Especially being able to she their big sister in the stroller next to them.

A few of my favorite things about being a mom

I had to share/vent:

1. Children who have to have their plug (pacifier) in to fall asleep, but continually pull them out. And when you wrap them up tight so they can't get their arms out to pull their plug out them get mad and still don't fall asleep.
2. Children who share their illness with their siblings and parents.
3. Children who cry and get upset for no reason.
4. Children who, on their own, continually roll from their back to their stomach and then get mad they are on their stomach. Especially when you know they can roll from their stomach to their back.
5. Children who have to be next to each other, but then get mad when one of them is touching the other.
6. Children who refuse to eat their lunch or dinner and then 10 min later tell you "I'm hungry".
7. Children who cry every time you comb their hair, even when there are no tangles.
8. Children who need to eat and while you are feeding them they reach up and push the bottle away over and over. Especially when it's 5 in the morning.
9. Children who ask you the same question over and over and over even when you've already given them an answer.
10. Children who are as stubborn and you and your husband.

But then they smile at you, or give you a hug or a kiss, or say something really cute, or do something nice for one of their siblings, or any number of things and all the annoying stuff is forgotten (most of it). I really love being a mom and wouldn't trade it or any of my kids for anything.

Help!!!

I would like to get Hailey potty trained!!! With 3 kids in diapers we spend a lot of money on diapers. She is very, very stubborn (not like her mom or dad at all, Ha! Ha!) She will sit on her potty for a while and then say "I'm all done" and she hasn't gone. Once I put a diaper on her then she'll go pee. It's kind of frustrating!!! We've bought her books, which she knows by heart because we've read it so many times. We've tried using using "potty candy" as a reward. I ask her all the time if she wants to go in her big girl potty. She usually thinks about it for a second and then says "No". We bought her Disney princess pull-ups and use those as a reward as well. It doesn't work. When she gets upset that we are changing her diaper we tell her Mommy and Daddy won't have to change your diaper if you go potty in the big girl potty. She still doesn't care. With Chris and Maddie needing my attention too I don't know what to do. Help!!! Any thoughts?
